The products: Technical Information
The product complies with National, European and American food law in their current valid version, in particular the requirements of the EU Organic Regulation (EC) No. 34/2007 for ecological farming.
The product has not been irradiated and it has not been produced with any genetically modified organisms (GMO). The product is manufactured, stored, packaged, inspected and labelled according to GMP and BRCGS. The product contains no additives according to the German food and feed law book (LFGB).
No processing aids are used and no protection agents are being used during storage and transportation. Organic product in accordance with Regulation (EC) No. 834/2007 or from its entry into force Regulation (EU) No. 2018/848 and UNECE Standard DDP-25 Dried Mangoes (class I) Bright, yellow-orange-colored, unsulphured, dried mango strips of approximately the same size (4cm), with a dull surface, without peel and remains of pits.
Social Impact
Yiriden trains and employs 200 people annually, with 90 % being women and youth — directly addressing high unemployment rates (previously 60 % for women in the region).
Our employees benefit from annual training programs in quality control, hygiene standards, and professional skills development, delivered by our in-house experts and international partners.
These initiatives have significantly improved living conditions in the local community, particularly for women, while promoting social stability.
Thanks to its strong social impact and production excellence, Yiriden has been ranked #1 by the Malian government for dried mango exports and its contribution to regional development.

Our producers
In partnership with local mango cooperatives, we have carried out several impactful projects in the Sikasso region of Mali.
We have trained and successfully certified the orchards of 378 producers to both EU Organic (BIO) and Naturland standards. These certified farms now cover a total of 1,225 hectares and deliver an annual production capacity exceeding 6,000 tons of premium organic mangoes.
Every year, we continue to onboard and certify new producers, steadily expanding our ability to meet growing international demand for high-quality, sustainably grown fruit.
Mali benefits from exceptional natural resources and ideal biophysical conditions for agriculture. The rural sector is rooted in rich traditional knowledge and supported by a dynamic network of more than 15,000 farmer organizations, agro-industrial companies, and development service providers.
Despite these strengths, the sector still faces important challenges:
- Limited investment in modernizing the value chain to boost performance and global competitiveness
- High exposure to climate variability and environmental risks
Through our ongoing work, we are committed to overcoming these obstacles, strengthening the entire mango value chain, and creating lasting economic opportunities for farming communities in Sikasso.
